URGENT: Multiple Problems: recovering images

Hi, I’m having multiple, ongoing problems with the WordPress app and the website too. The app always crashes upon launching/ during use.
Since April 15 2020, the WordPress app won’t let me upload images for blog posts from my camera roll at all. The image box and other editing options for a post are completely greyed out.
I have IOS 9.3.6 and is the maximum update available for the model of iPhone I have.I can upload images to Media Library fine on the website but when I go to open a scheduled or new post to edit it on my blog within the WordPress website, I get a page with a graphic saying something went wrong. This page has been appearing for months.
I deleted images from my media library thinking they would not vanish from my posts. They have done. How can I get them back?
I understand that the app is now only compatible with IOS 11 and later. I can still write posts and use tags, schedule and use dates and categories fine.
I’m a book reviewer so need the images in posts.

Hi, I’m not sure whether that’s an issue with your IOS version being no longer supported, or if it’s something else. It’s hard to troubleshoot when we can’t duplicate the problem.
I’d recommend ensuring your device has sufficient empty space. You might try rebooting it as well. If that still does nothing, are you able to upload media using a browser logged into your site?

Hi, I only have a small amount of space on my phone. Rebooting has not restored the deleted images. The image library takes some time to load and when it does I don’t see the deleted images.
I got the emails. I’m a person with severe sight impairments and disabilities. I wanted to delete a few duplicate images I have and can’t see the buttons properly.

I can upload new images to my media library fine on the WordPress site in Google and Safari. I’m writing these forum messages from the website in the browser using my iPad. What I can’t do, as I also say here, is write a new post in WordPress accessed from within in a browser because I get an error message.
But, I can write a post from the app on my phone.

Did you get the email that supernovia sent? That will be the best place to write back to us. Search your email for “Forum followup: Deleted Images” that’s the subject on the email.
