URGENT – MX isn’t working, emails went dead
-
I recently changed my website platform to WordPress.com and I have already been using Google Apps prior to this.
I changed both 3 of my Nameserver records at my domain host to dns1.wordpress.com, dns2.wordpress.com and dns3.wordpress.com.
But then my Google Apps MX isn’t working and WordPress.com’s support site, http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/custom-email/, states that “If you do not see this link then your mapped domain cannot yet have email. We hope to add more email soon.”
In my WordPress.com domain setting, it says “N/A (external NS)” under the email. However, I did modified my NS (Name Server) records to point to WordPress.com.
With no email, I can’t contact my business partners and with every second passing by, business opportunities are missed.
Moreover, WordPress.com only outlines the procedures for new Google Apps user, not existing ones. Therefore I have no idea on what to do.
Worse yet, my domain host requires its users to adopt its default NS before I can modify my MX records. However, all 3 of my NS records are pointing to WordPress.com.
What should I do?
