URGENT – My Blog is not being shown on purchased domain halchal.org. It is showing garbage in Chines

    I have domain halchal.org purchased from wordpress with [redacted by staff]
    My Hindi language blog gyanduttpandey.wordpress.com is mapped to this domain (halchal.org) The domain is valid in purchase at least up to Aug 2017.
    However I find the site is showing garbage in Chinese. Kindly look into the matter and restore my blog URGENTLY on my purchased domain. Kindly also reply on my registered email id – (email visible only to moderators and staff) .

    Hi there,

    Please don’t post your transaction ID in the forum. That number can bu used by someone to gain access to your account, so you should never post it anywhere public.

    The domain, halchal.org, is not registered with us any more. That domain was transferred to GoDaddy.com from us in 2013

    The transaction ID you gave is for a domain mapping upgrade to connect the domain to WordPress.com, but the domain is not pointing to us so the mapping upgrade was removed.

    Where the domain is pointing is controlled at the domain registrar, so GoDaddy in this case. So you will need to contact them to get the domain pointed back where it should be pointing.

    I’ve restored your domain mapping upgrade, but as the domain is not pointing to us at the moment, that won’t do anything. You will need to contact GoDaddy to fix that on their end.

    I paid $13 to WordPress on their intimation that subscription to domain halchal.org has expired. The payment was made on And payment was accepted – which I took as proof that WordPress had resolved the issue of Domain. The site was restored and started pointing to halchal.org. Payment was for 1 year and is valid up to August’17.
    Now you say that I should resolve matter with GoDaddy.
    I am at loss to understand how I should proceed. The payment to WordPress of $13 means you are supposed to resolve the issue.
    Kindly help me for restoring my domain name as WordPress has accepted the payment for service.

    The payment you made was for a domain mapping upgrade, not a domain registration. I have restored that domain mapping upgrade to your account.

    Your domain has not been registered with us since 2013. The domain registration was transferred to GoDaddy three years ago, and they now control the domain, not us.

    Once you transfer a domain away from us we have no control over it any more, and we haven’t had control over your domain for several years.
