URGENT: My profile name and my sites disappeared

    today I identified myself with my credentials in wordpress and suddenly, my profile name haad been changed by another one and despite that inmy profile page there were displayed my main site and my blog, when I tried to acccess to them, WordPress told me that I don’t have any sites. I can’t access at the dashboard of my blog at or at my main site or see my statistics, etc. I need urgent help to solve this issue.

    Hi olga492,

    Could you list the URL of your site? It will help us see where you’re at.

    Also, could you let us know, do you know if you own multiple WordPress accounts? Have you logged on to WordPress with multiple emails in the past? Logging in with a wrong email might be causing the confusion, but we would have to see.

    my sites are https://brajnovic.info and https://lifeisgreat0.blog. And yes, I guess that the problem was the one you had pointed out. I have logged on to WordPress with different emails because I had to change my original email which had been hacked. I think I have found the right way to log in my account but I would like now to disable the wrong account. The one that causes me problems. How to do it?

    Great, thank you for the update. There are a few ways people (email accounts) can be connected to your site. Please try checking the following.

    First, make sure the email registered under your account settings is your new email.

    Next, check to see if anyone else is registered under your team settings. These people won’t be able to edit your wordpress account, but they may be able to edit content on your page depending on what permission they have been given.
    People > Team

    As for your site https://brajnovic.info/, this is a WordPress.org site. Have you already connected it with WordPress.com? If you have, then you should be able to check emails connected to it from the links I posted above. If you haven’t, then you may have some emails connected with that site that are not showing in your WordPress.com account page. It might be good to do a quick check from the dashboard at https://brajnovic.info/wp-admin/. Check “Users” from the left menu bar.

    Finally, I recommend you setup Two Step Authentication. This is one way to prevent a third-party logging into your site, even if they get access to you email. You can set it up here.
