Urgent Navbar colour help

Hi all

I’m in the process of putting together a website and am struggling with the Navbar.

I have a dark Navbar with white text, however the submenu needs to have a white background with dark text; currently it is showing as white on white for the submenu.

I also have the same issue on the mobile version where it is showing the Navbar as white on white.

Any help today would be really appreciated.

I checked http://www.prestigeaudio.co.uk/wp/ and I found that site is setup using WordPress software, but it is not hosted here at WordPress.com. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ to learn about the differences.

This forum is for WordPress.com, but I will do my best to help you with an example and then direct you to the right place to get further help.

I’m not exactly sure where/how you’re adding in the styles, but there is a “style” tag inside the “head” tag that is making the submenu background black and text white. Here is what I see in the page source: https://cloudup.com/c2zNMemc0MV

You can override that with something like this:
```
.header .header-inner .nav ul li ul.sub-menu li a {
	background: white;
	color: black;
	border-top: 1px #eee solid;
}

.header .header-inner .nav ul li ul.sub-menu li a:hover {
	background: white;
	color: #CE3430;
}

.header .header-inner .nav ul li:hover > ul {
	box-shadow: 3px 3px 3px #999;
}
```
Or you can find where/how that style info is being added in and modify it.

Because your site is not hosted here at WordPress.com and because you are using a third-party theme, you should try asking the theme author for help as a first step. It looks like you are using the Prestige Audio theme made by http://www.kentwebdesigns.co.uk/ Another place you can ask for help is from the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums at http://wordpress.org/support/ I would try the theme author first though, because you are working with theme and design related things at this point and not really with WordPress code itself (which is what the http://wordpress.org/support/ forums are more about).
