Urgent. Need to release

  Hi,

  I need to urgently release my domain from WP.com as we are switching it to the WP.org where we will host it on wordpress.
  The ns1.wordpress.com and ns2.wordpress.com servers are still giving a response.

  Hi there,

  Here are the instructions on how to change your name servers:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/

  These instructions apply only if you have your domain registered through WordPress.com. If you have registered your domain elsewhere you need to contact them about the name servers change.

  Thanks fstat.

  The issue is a slightly different one. We had a holding page on wordpress.com and are now trying to link our new website to wordpress.org that we will host. We have deleted the old account but it still seems to be active as we cannot point our domain to the WP.org site.

  What is the domain URL?
  What is the underlying wordpress.com URL?
  Exactly which username account purchased the upgrade for it?
  When was the purchase made?

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of lumicrom.com? That domain is not registered with us and we have no control over it whatsoever.

  If you’ve already changed the name servers for that domain at your registrar, and the domain is still trying to redirect to WordPress.com, the problem could be either your browser cache or your computer’s DNS cache that’s still “remembering” the old location of that domain. Clearing those caches should fix it.

  If I try to load your domain I see a self-hosted WordPress site, not a WordPress.com site.
