Urgent- new page not showing

    Urgent, I have spent over a week and many hours trying to post a new page. It is listed in the menu but no content comes up. I have followed every WP step and video avialable but think they must be wrong as it does not work despite following them about 22 times. Please help urgently and pls do not send me any links as i;ve already followed them multiple times

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Also, I have changed the order of pages in the menu list, saved , but the menu remains in the previous order. I think something must be going on with WP as nothing is working correctly, it seems WP must have bugs.

    Is anyone able to help???

    Hi, many thanks. Its the ‘comments’ page. I made a new page with content in the pages section called ‘comments’. I then added this page to the menu and it comes up in the menu list, but when you click on ‘comments’ in the menu it does not show content. Many thanks

    Hey there,

    Ah got it – it looks like the link added to the menu is: http://comments/ the link should be the page link: https://patientcomplaintdhcftdotcom.wordpress.com/comments/

    Many thnaks. I have put the correct link into the URL and added that as a link to the menu, but it seems to revert to the wrong ‘comments’ url. Also that URL comes up by default and i can’t change. Do you know how i can stop it reverting to the wrong comment url and make sure the menu link goes to the correct url? thanks for your help

    Hi there,

    When you type “Comments” into the search box (when setting a menu link) it will show a list of pages that will match. In this case I see that you typed in the word “Comment” but did not take the additional step of clicking on the page as it is shown in the list of search results.

    The video at this link will show you how do to that, and after you save changes it will work as expected.
