Urgent: Please Remove Custom Script Causing HTTP ERROR 500 from functions.php
-
Hi Team,
I recently attempted to add a custom script to the functions.php file of my WordPress site to hide a specific Gravity Form on the homepage. Unfortunately, this has resulted in an HTTP ERROR 500, and the site is now down.
Here is the script that was added at the bottom of the functions.php file:
It seems this caused a fatal error, likely because tags are not meant to be used directly inside functions.php.
Can you please remove this code from the functions.php file immediately so the site can come back online?
Let me know once it’s done or if you need FTP or cPanel access to make the fix.
Thank you for your quick help on this. Please ASAP
Best regards,

We can’t help as that site isn’t running on the wordpress;com platform – https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/http://beaumontandco.ca
As you have a selfhosted site, you must take a look at https://wordpress.org/documentation/ to find out how to solve this problem yourself.
