URGENT: please restore my domain
-
Hello,
I am very sorry. I have just done a terrible mistake: I have accidentally cancelled my first domain: https://seeandforsee.wordpress.com , by adding an “e” to the url (https://seeandforesee.wordpress.com/).
When I edited the first link, I didn’t realize that users connecting to it would then see the blog as deleted…and this is now a serious issue for me.
I know that it is extremely difficult to restore deleted links, but it is very very important to me to go back to the previous one (https://seeandforsee.wordpress.com). I am open to any solution.
I really hope you can help me, I promise I will be more careful next time!
Best regards,
Virginia Simonelli

Hi Virginia,
I have restored your deleted address (seeandforsee.wordpress.com).
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.

Hello!
Thank you very much for your help!
However, I don’t know why when I try to edit my URL it still tells me that that domain (seeandforsee.wordpress.com) is unavailable…
Maybe the official resetting of the previous URL takes a while before getting effective (?) I hope it will be possible to solve this issue.
I wish you a great new year btw !

when I try to edit my URL
You can’t do that. The address https://seeandforsee.wordpress.com/ has been recovered. You’ll need to restore any content to that address with the export/import function or copy/paste depending how much content you had in the other incorrectly spelled site. The site title needs amending too at Design/Customize/Site identity.

I just wanted to add too, if you’d like the address to have the E, we do have a redirect upgrade to help with that. It’s $13/year, but it will redirect your users from one site to the other so you’ll have the address you want.
https://wordpress.com/domains/add/site-redirect/
Hoping that helps a bit.
