    I have tried to cancel this account numerous times. Paypal have informed me of a payment. I am now lodging a dispute. Can someone at word press actually assist me cancel and stop payment add refund or do I need to go to consumers affair as my understanding was that this was sorted 6 months ago

    It maybe auto-renewing your purchases. I am tagging this thread for staff attention.

    Meanwhile you can read this:

    You can turn off automatic renewal for your domain name or plan by choosing the option to cancel on the Purchase page. If your domain name or plan is outside of our refund window then it will stay active until its expiration date and you will not be automatically charged for its renewal.

     

    How can I cancel my plan?
    You can cancel your plan via Purchases. Click the button to Cancel below the plan details. Follow the prompts to cancel your plan, and be sure to check your email for a link to confirm your cancellation.

  • I can help you out with that. However, the most recent payment associated with the user account that you are posting from was on 2015-07-06. This typically means that you ended up with another WordPress.com user account at some point and that account was used to purchase the upgrade.

    If you can log into that account, you can request a refund or post here again for help. If you do not know the login information for that account, you can track down the payment with our mystery charge tool here:
