Urgent removal of personal images cached by WordPress
-
Some of my personal images were hosted on a image provider’s server, which have now been deleted. However, WordPress still caches those images, which is why they are visible on the internet.
https://i0.wp.com – This is how all the links start
w=750&ssl=1 – this is how they end
As per older threads, I have learnt that these may have been cached by WordPress and admins here can remove them altogether. However, I cannot share the links in this post as the images are sensitive. Please share an alternative way to send the image links over to you, so that they can be removed at the earliest. -
When images are deleted, they are also removed from our cache in a short time. You can see this for yourself by going to the url of those images.
Make sure you clear your browser cache before doing so or visite those url’s in incognito or private modus.

I have cleared cache and also tried viewing them in incognito. they are still visible. The image hosting provider removed them 3 days ago. Still, it is visible.

Dear team, it has been more than a day since I posted by query, It is a bit urgent, it will be helpful if someone from the support team is available at the earliest.

“After deleting a file, the direct web addresses to the files might continue to work for up to a few days as they are cached. The deleted files will disappear from the cache automatically in a few days. “
If you are still seeing those deleted images, this is caused by your browser cache or a proxy server.
