URGENT! SITE NOT WORKING FOR OVER 24 HOURS

  Extremely urgent! and it is incredibly frustrating not getting a response or even finding one on any of your forums. I posted yesterday afternoon and still have NOT received a response. You must understand how unsettling this can be since my website is down and I cannot fix it. I paid the $13 to have WordPress host my website back in June 2013. I now need to get my domain back so I can transfer it to another host but can’t. I followed the instructions to cancel my private registration but your system did not prompt me to the domain manager. Now I have no access to my domain or my domain manager and do not know how to change it. None of your FAQ’s are providing an answer and its incredibly frustrating.
  my website (domain) is http://www.makeupbyawilda.com which is not working at all for the last 24 hours!! My blog address is makeupbyawilda.wordpress.com. PLEASE HELP!!!

  Part of the problem is that your domain name is not registered with WordPress.COM – you need to contact your domain registrar – see the whois for more info

  It also looks like you have canceled the domain mapping and not the Private Registration – you had no Private Registration to cancel since your domain name is not registered with WordPress.COM – when you canceled the domain mapping your blog stopped working

  I will flag this for the staff – maybe they can reinstate your domain mapping while you fix your name servers

  @auxclass – Thank you very much for getting back to me! I really, really appreciate it. I will look into the provided link and follow up with them. I was under the impression since I paid for the subscription on WordPress it was now the owner. Thanks again! Have a good night!

  @auxclass – Oh geez, I was clearly following the incorrect instructions which has caused this massive confusion on my end. I appreciate your help and hope that the mapping can get reinstated while I fix this issue on my end. Thanks again!!

  Like Auxclass said, the domain is not registered at WordPress.com. It’s registered at Tucows.

  If you want to map the domain to your WordPress.com blog again, go to Store -> Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.
