URGENT: Unable to view my website after installing 4.6 “Pepper”

    I was just updating my website/Wordpress blog humanaturepodcast.org and received this message:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare the_post_thumbnail_caption() (previously declared in /homepages/22/d576746140/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Humanature5370/wp-includes/post-thumbnail-template.php:244) in /homepages/22/d576746140/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Humanature5370/wp-content/themes/podcaster/functions.php on line 96

    This website is for my work’s podcast and I was in the process of posting the audio for our new episode which needs to be scheduled for TOMORROW.

    If possible, I would like to go back to the previous version of Word Press in case 4.6 is not compatible with my theme.

    This is very urgent. Please respond ASAP.

    The fatal error message is a wordPress.ORG error message. You are posting to the wrong support forum. That site is not hosted here and we cannot help you.

    We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
    (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
    (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.

    Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.     As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
