URGENT Website is down AGAIN. Gogdaddy needs IP address

    My website is down again. Fallonrice.com is being forwarded to F28agency.com, BUT my fallonrice.com/BLOG site has always worked… the site is ‘parked’ and GoDaddy said they can’t help until I get the IP address from WP.
    1. Can I Please get the IP Address
    2. How do I avoid this in the future
    3. Why is my website parked

    I feel you. Website downtimes are upsetting. The right place to seek help from would be https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.

    Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. Your website is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.     Hi there,

    1. Can I Please get the IP Address

    I’m afraid our IP address won’t help you, because your site isn’t hosted on our servers on WordPress.com. The WordPress you’re using is not the same thing as WordPress.com – that WordPress is just a piece of software you have installed on a server somewhere, so there isn’t any “IP address from WP” you can use – no such thing exists.

    To have that domain point to your site again, you need to use the IP address of the hosting provider on whose servers you have that site hosted. Based on the IP address currently set on your domain, you’re hosted with Google Cloud. (GoDaddy support has access to much more detailed information on your domain setup with them, so they should have been able to tell you this…)

    3. Why is my website parked

    Either your hosting with Google expired, or your domain expired at GoDaddy. Sounds like you already checked with GoDaddy, so the problem is most likely on Google’s end. Please contact them directly.

    Thanks for trying to help, but this is not an issue with the open source WordPress software, so the WordPress.org forums also won’t be able to help. For issues with a domain, hosting provider, or a particular theme or plugin, it’s typically best to refer people directly to that provider. The WordPress.org community on provides support for issues related to WordPress itself :)
