URGENT! Wrong URL on login – How do I get into my existing website?

Is there another email address that I can use? Any email addresses posted in our forums will be redacted from public view, but staff members will still be able to see them.

I think you’re trying to access http://highcountrywild.com/wp-admin (note the wp-admin, not wp/admin at the end). That should redirect you to https://janishuggins.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ which is the site which the highcountrywild.com domain appears to be mapped to. The ‘janishuggins’ account is what owns that site.

I have been trying for two weeks to log in into my blog. I have two domains. The second one which is actually the main (lawyersinmexico.ca) will not recognize my user name, email and/or password. I cannot go into my dashboard to post or change anything. Timethief helped me change my password; I updated everything but will not recognize me … I am desperate!!! Please help me.

@oaguilar2014: lawyersinmexico.ca is not hosted on WordPress.com. It may be a self-hosted WordPress site, but changing your password here at wordpress.com will not help with that. You could try recovering your password via this page: http://www.lawyersinmexico.ca/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword but that is the extent of the help we can offer with a site which we don’t host.

I am attempting to contact you again as you are the one who has tried to help me. You say below that you do see my website domain, highcountrywild.com, in your system, but that is not associated with my account. I have every email sent to me regarding a wordpress forum answer – but, I do not see the private email you said you would send to help me gain access to my site.
You do have the correct email address of janis.huggins@…..
It is definitely becoming critical. If you can help me do the above, I would really appreciate it. Every workshop I go to on marketing, webpages, etc directs me to use wordpress and I definitely built my webpage in wordpress with the help of someone I can no longer use.

Shawna, when I said “redirected” I meant that when I go into WordPress to put in my sign in information so that I can edit my webpage, it takes me only to wildatheartcolorado.com information and that was never set up as a webpage.
if I type highcountrywild.com into the address bar, I am definitely able to get my webpage, but I cannot get into the admin part to access my pages to edit – I need them connected to my email and password. Thank you.Janis Lindsey Huggins http://www.highcountrywild.com

You are posting here logged into the account with username ‘snowwillow’, which is not the account which owns (nor does it currently have access to) highcountrywild.com. You need to log out of that account, and log in as ‘janishuggins’ (which is the only account with access to your site) before you can access highcountrywild.com.

Thanks, but I don’t know how to login that way. I am definitely Janis Huggins and that is definitely my website. However, I am 63+ and technically challenged and it has been several years since I did anything to edit that page. I have checked all of my passwords and the only one I see is connected with Snowwillow which is connected with this same email address that I’ve always used for the past 10 or 15 years. I need someone to actually help me get into my website as I cannot even bear the thought of having to rebuild it. I am so behind in revising my book that I have got to get help getting into this website. I can email someone my drivers license anything but I need to get into my site. How can you help me? Okay, beau, I have gone back to 2011 and 2013 in my emails. I have emails showing that the Janis – however, the person who first helped me was supposed to have that email address directed to my janis.huggins. I have just sent two or three emails to the janis and cannot figure out where they are going or how to send another email from that address. They are not coming to my Comcast account as they once did. Should I send someone the emails showing that I was getting email at that address and that the domain mapping was paid for as recently as March 9, 2013?
I also have emails from Ryan and Justin W from 2011 when they were trying to help me. They also mentioned that I have to use the j**** email is going and how to write from it, I am stuck.you gads, I know this is convoluted but once I get access to at this time I will make sure that I work with it frequently and put everything in a special place in a file so that I don’t ever get in this mess again. Hi Janis! Thanks for bearing with us on this. It sounds like you have the receipts for the Domain Mapping upgrade for the domain highcountrywild.com. Can you forward one of those emails to help[at]wordpress.com? (Make sure you replace “[at]” with the @ sign.)
At the top of the message say that you were working with Shawna and Beau in the forums attempting to recover the account that owns the upgrades associated with highcountrywild.com. And link to this thread:
