URI links

  Hello.
  Can I use URI links in wordpress blogs? For example joining skype group:

  “skype:?chat&blob=CSjm5_GODfE1wwJkCAFaWbX9lti10jsXcSLqIDYssL_Due4Bc7acFcbQgBa4-bsgCJ_o3iy2CaO0JVnXaOvQ”
  When I make this as a link, it makes it internal link (http://mysite.wordpress.com/skype:?……), but I want it to work as URI link.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  There’s an old thread about this, and their conclusion holds true for now, which is that this cannot be done since WordPress strips javascript for security reasons (http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/) and you need javascript to do this. (The people who can do this, then, are those with self-hosted blogs.)
