  I wish to put up my 5 page website and have a blog too. I need my address to be as it is without the “wordpress” stuck into it. Is this possible? I hear good things about WordPress. Victor >(email visible only to moderators and staff)<

  You can purchase your own domain name via a domain mapping upgrade which must be renewed annually.

  There is no problem to solve. There are just instructions to follow and a payment to be made. :)

  Dear Timethief – Thank you for the response. I have already two domains (.com and .org) from Godaddy. Is the wordpress fee to have the domains be “as they are” very high? I am sorry to seem naive but I AM very new to all this. Victor,

  Ahhh Timethief – I read the domain mapping bit and am beginning to get it! it seems to be OK and will cost $13 per domain/year. ie $26 for two. guess i must dive in and DO it. Victor.
