    How come when I type in my web address, everythingchosen.com my word press site doesn’t come up? When asked what type of URL I picked everythingchosen.com because i purchased it with go daddy. is there a way to fix that?

    wordpress has 2 version, wordpress.com which is a service, and wordpress.org which is a software.

    You can create free blog/site with wordpress.com, or download the software and host it somewhere.

    Your WordPress.com blog comes with a free address, like example.wordpress.com. You can get rid of the .wordpress.com part and use a custom domain name instead, like example.com.

    Adding a domain is a paid upgrade:

    • Registering a domain through WordPress.com starts at $18.00 per domain, per year (see below for a detailed price list)
    • Domain owners are required to share their contact information. The $8.00 Private Registration upgrade will protect your identity and hide your contact information.
    • Adding a domain you already own costs $13.00 per domain, per year.
    • A custom domain is also included in both the Premium and Business Plans.
