Hello, I re-set and saved my url for the new blog/site I have been working on. It was Dear Honey with a string of numbers originally and I changed it to Ask Honey.wordpress It saved but did not change in the URL. So I tried to save it again and it instead says now that name is not available. Realy?! Now two separate pages are coming up under the same account. Can you please change it so the URL is Askhoney.wordpress . No one is going to remember a web address with a string of numbers on it.

Hi there – That indeed sounds very frustrating. I looked into this further with you and I believe I understand the steps you have taken that you described.
I see you have a site which had this number at the end
...472755921. You didn’t like the name there, so you changed the “Site Title” in the Customize tool here to “Ask Honey”, hoping that would update the URL.As you have found, changing the Site Title does not update the site URL (but that is an interesting idea that I’ll pass along!).
Lastly, once you did find the way to update the site URL, you found that the URL you wanted was not available. I checked that URL and I also found that it’s been taken for many years.
Is there perhaps another name that would fit your needs for this site?
