  Why is the URL my first and last names? Is it possible to change them while keeping the same domain for free?

  Hey there,

  The URL of the site is usually created during the sign up process. It’s possible to change the site address as per these steps: https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/

  Please note that once changed, the original/old URL is no longer attainable for use.
