URL Address

I am brand new to WordPress, just started this morning. I have a .com url address but when I type it into google, my site does not come up. My url address at this time is still a http://box—-.temp.domain address, what do I need to do in WordPress or Elementor to change this? Totally newbie…..

My guess here is that you’re using Bluehost hosting, not WordPress.com. This is WordPress.com hosting support.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.
You can get help for many issues in the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/. Try posting your question there to get advice from the community on this issue. You can also ask your host how to connect your domain name. They’ll better be able to advise on this!

Regardless where you are hosted, a brand new site will never appear in Google and other search engines immediately. It can take up to eight weeks for any new website to be indexed and start appearing in search results, and that would also depend on both that your site is properly configured for SEO ( on your self-hosted site you’ll need a plugin like Jetpack or Yoast SEO to do that), and on how often you publish new content to your site – search engines can’t index it if there’s nothing to index.
For help getting your actual domain active on the site, please contact Bluehost support, as that’s something that needs to be set up on their end.
