URL already exists because I created it, but I can't use it.

I had a blog that I cancelled and now I want to start it again but when I type the blog adress I get this message: ”sorry that site already exists”. I created it but now it seems I can’t use it anymore.

Hi there,
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. Click that link and you have been repeatedly warned that deletion is irreversible and the URL cannot be recycled and used by anyone again. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
