URL and Email Display within Comments Dashboard
-
Hi,
I noticed in the first couple of comments I received on my blog that when I view the comments within my dashboard I can see both the URL for their blog and their email address, as well as my own URL and email within my reply to them.
Two issues- when I hover my cursor over my blog URL displayed in my reply, it shows a different blog I have, which is supposed to be private, NOT the blog on which they are commenting. I assume if I’m seeing this on my dashboard and I’m seeing their blog URL and email address then they are seeing mine on their dashboard? How do I fix this?
Second- is there a way to make your email address not be displayed in the reply?
Basically, I don’t want my email address displayed publicly and I want the correct blog URL displayed.
Help? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Update! I think I fixed the URL in comments thing :) Now I’m just wondering about the email address thing. Thanks!

The email address you register your username account with it you unique identifier. If you wish you can get another email address and change the e-mail address in your Personal Settings to the new one, then the one you are currently using can be kept private.Read also: Email Notifications
The blog you link to your username as your primary blog is your own choice and can be changed very easily. Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.
Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

You see the email addresses when viewing the comment and you are logged into the comment editor – the email is not displayed on your blog – also WordPress.COM keeps track of you with a cookie and fills in things like your info at times – log out and look at the comments on your blog and there should be no addresses visible
