URL apppears to be unavailable to the public

My URL is active but appears as unable when viewed on a search engine. This could have something to do with the same URL being used (then renamed and finally deleted) a few years ago. It is radhikanichlani.wordpress.com

I’m sorry but I wasn’t asking for advise on how to make it look better or anything related to SEO! I’m talking about people I share the url with are getting an error message ‘the author has deleted this site’ ..can you please test this out and let me know why it’s happening !

@radhikanichlani, are you able to view radhikanichlani.wordpress.com? Did you delete the site today?
When I tried view it, I saw the deleted site message: https://cloudup.com/cz6c78X81ft

I had two sites, deleted one – rnichlani.wordpress.com. My other site is definitely active as I can see it.

Yes I am. Are you sure? I seem to have a number of people say they see the error message. It happens to me too but only occasionally.

Yes, of course, I’m sure. :) Your friends need to use the actual URL which is https://radhikanichlani.wordpress.com/ by typing it into their upper browser bar and clicking.

radhikanichlani.wordpress.com showed as deleted for me earlier (https://cloudup.com/cz6c78X81ft). I still had the page open in another tab so I just now refreshed it (F5) and it changed to the blog content. I’ve tagged this thread for a staff member to look into because something seems amiss.

Thank you! Something tells me we need to check a older instance a site created a couple of years ago. I had set it up with the same name but then renamed it. That site is the one I have now deleted.

Just wondering if your staff member has been able to resolve the issue. I just tried and it appears to be deleted again but when I log in to my account I can view the site :( !

@radhikanichlani – I don’t know how long the queue is for others needing assistance as I am just a volunteer in the forums. When the staff reaches this thread, they’ll either post a response or contact you privately by email. Please be patient.
