URL Change

  I’m trying to change my URL to ‘thenakedjournalist.wordpress.com’, and it says that the URL is already taken. However, when I search it, WordPress says it doesn’t exist. Am I able to use that URL?

  Hi there,

  thenakedjournalist.wordpress.com is deleted by the previous owner. Deleted WordPress.com addresses cannot be re-used.

  You can choose a different .wordpress.com address or register a custom domain name.
