  we are changing our url and are concerned about followers still being connected (we were told they would be), and we keep getting messages with warnings –see below. our new url is peggyarndt.com and Max your Mind is the blog name.
  Your subscription to catnipblog.com has expired or is about to expire.

  MAXyourMIND ‘catnipblog.com’ expires on January 18, 2019 Renew now

  Hi there,

  You changing your URL will not affect the followers of your blog. They will see the name change on their end, but will be able to get updates to your blog if they were already following you.

  In terms of the warning, it is just informing you that your old domain catnipblog.com will expire soon if you want to renew it. Otherwise, if you plan on replacing the domain with peggyarndt.com, you should have no issues doing so. You already have it set as your primary domain, so when the other domain expires, it shouldn’t affect your site.
