URL change

  Hi,
  I was developing on my first site ‘thebruisedreedd.wordpress.com’, but when I realized that ‘thebruisedreed.home.blog’ I created the site as well, but I like the design of the ‘bruisedreedd.wordpress.com’ better than the one in ‘thebruisedreed.home.blog’

  Would it be able to change the URL of ‘bruisedreedd.wordpress.com’ into ‘thebruisedreed.home.blog’, but keep the design of ‘bruisedreedd.wordpress.com’ ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi There,

  There isn’t a super easy way to achieve this, but it is doable. You first would empty all of the content from your thebruisedreed.home.blog site and then move the content from thebruisedreedd.wordpress.com to thebruisedreed.home.blog site. To remove all of content from your site, follow the instructions in this link from the support pages:

  Empty Your Site to Start Fresh

  To export all the content from thebruisedreedd.wordpress.com, go to My Sites and make sure you are in your thebruisedreedd.wordpress.com site. Scroll down and click on settings. Scroll down to where you see Export – Export all. The files will be emailed to you.

  Open the email, download the files and extract the files.

  To import, make sure you are in your thebruisedreed.home.blog site. Scroll down and click on settings. Then scroll down to where you see Import. Choose WordPress and then upload your files.
