  Is there a way to change the URL to a free site to not include the numbers after the title?

  The answer is maybe. Do you mean your free address is mysite237666543.wordpress.com or something similar? You usually get numbers if the address you’d prefer such as mysite.wordpress.com is already taken. You can change to a totally different address or you could probably change your address to one with only one or two numbers after it.
