URL connects to wrong homepage

  Hi. I’ve just published a new website – http://montemar2.com

  As you can see the URL connects to a page with a header, top level menu and a sidebar with a submenu. I don’t where this page has come from – it’s not listed in my All Pages edit screen.

  My intended homepage is what I have called the ‘Intro’ page. How can get I get rid of the initial ‘ghost ‘ page please?

  Hi there,

  That “ghost page” (nice term!) is appearing because your theme wants to place blog posts on its front page, and the only things that you have created thus far are pages.

  Not to worry though, you can set your blog to have a page as the first page that is displayed rather than posts. To do so, just follow the instructions which I’ve included below. Your site will come right up!
