URL does not change on links- makes some not work.

    I am working on this Grandma Gatewood site. When we click on a link, it takes you to the page outside of GG site, but this does not show up in the URL. So, For example the link to the go fund me does not let you click on anything on the page. You can’d donate. What is going on? Any help is appreciated. http://www.grandmagatewood.com

    FYI , I’m just coming on to this site. It has been active for a long time, but I’m on the statue project and need to have things work. Not sure if there are settings when the page was created that is doing this.

    Hi! I believe the reason that happens is due to the way that the domain name grandmagatewood.com is set up. The short version is that grandmagatewood.com acting as a window to http://grandmagatewood.wordpress.com/ but isn’t actually fully connected.

    What that means is that when you click on a link like the GoFundMe link, you might get to the GoFundMe page but you’re still technically looking through that grandmagatewood.com window frame at it; and that’s why it doesn’t show in the URL either.

    Generally what we’d suggest instead is:

    Essentially what this does is correctly attach the domain to the site contents, instead of having it act as a window. Having had a quick look at the site, I’d say that a Personal plan would work fine for this:
