URL Domain Change

  Hi! I am currently working on a website and on the settings, I wanted to change the domain name from my original URL name to a new one. After I changed the URL name and saved it, it took me to another website and I can’t even get back to the administration page to work on my website. Can anyone help my with this problem? Thanks

  My URL is called gregbrad.com and I wanted to change it to kproductions.com, but when I change it, the domain took me to this website that talks about buying a domain. So, I can’t get back to my website or my administration login.

  Hello again, it doesn’t look like either of those domains is hosted here on WordPress.com where we are. Have you tried contacting your web hosing provider’s support, which looks to be 1&1, about this?

  Just to clarify, this support forum assists users of WordPressdotcom hosted sites and the guidance provided here may not be relevant to DIY WordPress.org sites hosted with an external hosting provider (e.g. Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.).

  In general if you need help with a site using the open source WP (org) software you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support where they likely have more experience with the type of issue you are having.
