url for a post on my blog

I want to link to the url for a post on my blog. I can’t remember whether to include the slash before the date or not.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is an example of a permalink to your most recent post: http://climatebysurly.com/2014/09/07/winter-2014-normal/, so your link should look something like that.

Thanks, hallluke, but I understand it is much better not to use the complete url, but only the part beginning with the date. There is a slash before the date. Should that slash be in the part I use, or not?

Ah, I see what you mean now.
If you want to link to the daily archive page then it doesn’t matter whether the trailing slash is there (this is true for slashes at the end of pretty much all URLs you will come across).

Thanks. I’ll assume that what you say for trailing slashes also applies to leading slashes.
