URL for Password Protected Page
-
i cannot send the URL to someone to review a page that is password protected.
I have tried and tried. Does the person need to be in the USERS list for the blog? Or, is it I am not sending the URL correctly?
Please advise.
Thank You,
SHDThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
If you have a page that is both published and password protected, anyone who has the password to the page should be able to view the content.
When inside your list of all pages, click on “View” next to the name of your page. Once the page opens, (you might see the page ask you for the password) copy the URL in the address bar on your browser. This should be the URL that you send to the person. They do not need to be in the Users list for your blog.
However if your page is still a draft, a normal site visitor will not be able to access this content.
Hopefully this helps.

Thank you for your reply.
I have the page set to Pending Review. My thought is to have someone review it before I make it public. Ergo, Pending Review and a password.
Now, must I add those people to the User Lists? If so, what is the lowest level of permissions that can be issued to achieve this goal?
Thank You

Page down on the edit page a bit from the editing window – you should find a “Request Feedback” area – click on that – you can send them an email or get a link and send the link to them – nobody needs to be a user at all – I use this feature all the time – works great –
