URL Link in Photo caption
-
Hi – last week I noticed a new feature when adding media – I was able to add a URL link to text that appeared in my photo caption. I can no longer find it now… can you help?
Thanks,
Mary

Howdy,
Could you try using a bit of HTML like the following?
<a href="http://site.com/">Linked text</a> -
Hi Chris – thanks for the response. I have to admit I don’t understand HTML. I tried your suggestion but couldn’t get the “click” on the link to work. It appears with the right text – but I cannot click the click the link.
Any thoughts?
Thanks again for your help.

Hi Mary,
You seem to have a link in your image caption here:

Please try adding a caption, and then insert your photo into the post. After you insert your photo into the post, you should be able to highlight the text that you want to link, and then click on the link button.

hi chris – thanks again for your reply. I was able to add a link to the caption of the image you found because wordpress had functionality in the media window that made it easy for me to do it. there was an “add link” button right below the caption box – but now it is gone. Or I can no longer figure out how to access it.
I just tried your suggestion about linking the caption after inserting the picture and that works – thank you so much for your help.
