URL links in Coraline
-
Hi. I’m setting up a website-style blog using Coraline and am having problems with the URL links. Sometimes they display as underlined blue text and sometimes as underlined black text. It seems to be random as to which link shows which way. I have had a look at the HTML and can’t see any obvious differences (although I am hardly an expert!) and would welcome advice. Is there something I can do to make them all black or all blue??
Many thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That is because Coraline has a “visited” link color set in the CSS. Normal links (that have not been visited) are one color and visited links are another color. It can be changed if you have the Custom Design Upgrade.

Also, once you clear your browser cache, the links all go back to the non-visited color.

Thanks guys! So I need do nothing – my visitors will see the links in the appropriate colour depending on whether they have clicked on them or not?

@Panos, G’day to you! And it is just now “morning” here.
@landscapelover, yes, that is correct. Any non-visited links will be blue and the visited links will be dark.

I’m also setting up a website using a Coraline child theme. I notice that Panos has helpfully put the measurements of the various layouts at http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/08/10/coraline-layouts-and-mullenweg-pearson-dispute/.
I’ll be using option 5 (Sidebar-Content-Sidebar) and would be thankful if Panos, thesacredpath or any of the other members would kindly explain how to change the width of the Secondary Widget Area.
Many thanks.

I’m also setting up a website using a Coraline child theme.
There are no Coraline child themes that are coded to run on this WordPress.com multiuser software.
This is the version coded to run on WordPress.org software http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/search.php?q=Coraline
