URL links in the Blogroll

  I’ve attempted to edit the URL links in the Blogroll so that they open in a new window. For example, one URL in place had been:

  http://www.antiwar.com/

  I changed this in the link editor to:

  Antiwar.com

  The “Visit Link” button takes me to the site via a new window. However, when I hit “Update Link” the URL reverts back to the original URL.

  Thank you for helping me to resolve this.

  Pardon…

  link changed to:

  [a href=”http://www.antiwar.com/” target=”_blank”]Antiwar.com[/a]

  with brackets replaced by < and >

  In the link editor, “Web Address” box, you paste the exact URL of the webpage you want to link to (as copied from the address bar of your browser). No messing with it.

  If you want it to open in a new window, you scroll down to the “Target” module and select the “_blank” option.

  (If you see no Target module, click Screen Options to activate it.)
