URL Mapping from Godaddy domain to wordpress blog

  I want to map my domain in wordpress(xxx.wordpress.com) to subdomain in godaddy(xx.mydomainname.com). I did it by pointing the subdomain address in godaddy to my wordpress blog.

  The link is not changing even as I clink on various posts in the blog. It is showing the same xx.mydomainname.com but not showing the complete address. Please help
