You are the expert and I’mthe newbie. I have signed up for Bluehost as my host site for my WordPress blog,. Do I need a host site? It was paid for for the year, but I just am still confused about that whole thing. Thanks again.

Your domain is working, and your site is up. In my opinion, you do not need the Bluehost hosting. You might re-purpose it, or see if they will give you a refund.dave

I’m trying like hell to add a post to a specific page. I don’t want it to show up on my front page, but I don’t know how to make it static. I also want to have “recent posts” on my front page. so, how do I get a post on a specific page, please. I am apparently stupider than I originally thought.

It seems the Hemingway Rewritten theme does not support static front pages – i tried on my test mule page and was unable to activate it. You will have to select a different one if you want to use the static front page feature.Once you get a static front page theme, you can assign categories to your posts and use the categories as menu items in a custom menu
