URL name

  I want to start a new site, called Radical DISability, but the only url choice they are giving me is radicaldisabilityblog.wordpress.com. I would be very content with (email visible only to moderators and staff). I am not creating a blog, so the word blog makes no sense in that page. I do not want to pay for a premium site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  It seems that site address radicaldisability.wordpress.com is taken by someone. Hence, WordPress.com is suggesting you ‘radicaldisabilityblog.wordpress.com’ site address.

  You need not buy Premium plan. You can buy cheaper plan, that is, Personal plan. Or you can replace ‘blog’ word with something else like ‘site’.
