URL name

Hi everybody, good morning!
I’am still new to wordpress and I have the following question:
I have just created this kind of ‘photo blog’ https://cristiankuhn.wordpress.com/ and I would like to upgrade to the ‘Private’ plan.
My question: may I upgrade (in order to publish) exactly with the above mentioned URL (https://cristiankuhn.wordpress.com) or do I really need a new URL (like e.g. ‘cristiankuhn.photos’), which in fact I do not think necessary?

I am sorry, I meant “Personal” as an upgrade plan and not “Private” ;-)

Hi,
If you want the features of what the personal plan offers then you can decide if you want to buy that.
If the features of the free plan are all you need then maybe you want to use the free plan.
A paid plan will remove the .wordpress.com part of the URL if that is important to you.

Do you know how long it takes between the upgrade payment and effective publishing of the site (in case of the “. wordpress.com” – option) ?

Sorry, I don’t understand what you are asking. Please try to ask in a different way.
Are you asking how long the process takes of buying a plan and being able to make a new post? If that is your question I don’t know. I think it does not take very long.
Maybe someone else understands what you are asking or knows the answer to your question.

I am sorry, if I was not clear enough; it was just a minor technical question, regarding the time between payment (of the upgrade) and getting online. I already tried it out and I was immediately online. Thank you anyway!!
