URL name change

  I am trying to change my URL name and am wondering how long it takes. I did it last night and it is not active yet.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What is the URL you are wanting to update your blog to? I see in our records that you were trying to change it to a custom domain?

  I am so confused. Host gator is who I am using. The name was toxicsavvy.com, and I went on to host gator and changed the name to ahappyplace.com, now nothing is happening!

  If you are referring to changing a domain that is associated with a self-hosted WordPress.org site, then you’re in the wrong forum. Hi there,

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities, but the essential difference is that we don’t have access to all WordPress sites, only ones hosted on our WordPress.com servers. For more information, please see:

  I would advise getting in touch with Hostgator, for they should be able to assist you with the status of your domain.

  Hi, I’m trying to change my wordpress permalinks to remove the date from them. I’m trying to access http://www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin/options-permalink.php but it keeps saying I haven’t permissions to access it. Can you help?
