URL not in use

  to whom it may concern,
  I currently have a blog with the url of spaceinfinite.wordpress.com. Although my blog is entitled In.finite Space, the url infinitespace.wordpress.com was in use at the time when I set up the blog. When I check that url now, however, it says that infinitespace.wordpress.com is not longer in use. Is there a way that I can switch my url to infinitespace.wordpress.com. When I try, it says that that url is in use, but it doesn’t appear to be. Thank you for any help.

  Deleted blog URLs here are not recycled.
  See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
  and http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
