URL not recognized; can't post to FB or Twitter

  My site is not recognized except through Google. Bing doesn’t open to it or regard it as valid. I cannot share the blog to FB, Twitter, or anywhere. Even listing the blog address on Twitter in my profile won’t work: says it’s not a valid URL.

  This is no good to me if people can’t access it and I can’t share the blog.

  Hi there,

  can you please reproduce steps you made when sharing your blog? Because I am sure there is nothing wrong with your url.

  I did get sharing to work on Twitter. At least, it says it worked. I haven’t done a post to check.
  I cannot get sharing to work on FB. Below are the messages I get:

  “The Facebook connection could not be made.”
  “There was a problem connecting to Facebook to create an authorized connection. You need to grant WordPress.com permission to publish to Facebook on your behalf.”
  I looked up how to do this on the tutorial. I am on settings-sharing and I click the Connect button by FB. I don’t get the screens they show, however. I just get a screen that says basically is this the FB that the posts would go to and there is another Connect to hit. That’s when it fails. No other screens appear for me to give authorization to post.

  I did get Bing to work by putting in the heading Meditations on God’s Word/Jesus is Lord with http://teacherforjesus.com several timesand it finally recognized it so I can just put in the http…address.

  I really want to be able to post to FB though. How do I get a screen to appear to give wordpress authorization to post?

  I strongly advise posting manually. FB actively discriminates against automatically posted links.

  If you insist on using Publicize, however, we can try to make this work. Log out of WordPress an Facebook, clear your browser cache and cookies, clear your Facebook cache, and then try to log in and reconnect it. http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/
