Question- When I copy/paste the URL of my WordPress blog to a Facebook post, it does not reflect my domain name (www.DorothyLHarris.com) but rather the original free trial version of dak.iou.mybluemyhost.me/2018/06/03…. can site be altered to make this show my web domain name?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
What is displayed in the Facebook preview is determined by the OpenGraph tags that the Jetpack plugin adds to your site, and those are based on the domain you used when you connected your site to Jetpack.
Please log into your site’s dashboard and click on Jetpack in the menu. Disconnect and reconnect Jetpack under your site’s new domain. That should update the info in your site’s OG tags.
For more help with this, you can reach Jetpack support here:

Disconnected and reconnected Jet Pack, but address bar still reflecting trial name, not new domain name. I’m thinking I need to change the domain name under settings, general, word press address (URL), site address (URL)? When I click on the link listed there however it seems to suggest this is NOT a good idea (cautions only for highly skilled developer- which I am NOT….just beginning.)
JetPack was not available today…

If your site is still set to use the temporary URL, Jetpack will have no way of knowing you’ve changed the URL, no, as that means the address hasn’t been changed in the site’s database where Jetpack gets this information from.
Please contact your hosting provider for help updating the address. We have no way of helping with that.
If free email support for Jetpack is unavailable, you can also post in the Jetpack forums, here:
