Url redirecting
-
I have a custom ecommerce which I’m considering moving to WordPress (Woocommerce).
The issue I have is as follows:
The url for a product is for example: http://www.domain.com/category/subcategory/product.I noticed that Woocommerce had slugs. So for example, three same product will now be under http://www.domain/product-slug/category/subcategory/product.
This will hurt my website’s ranking unless I am redirecting.
Since I have a lot of pages (products, categories and sub categories, is there a plugin which can make it more autonomous instead of defining all this urls manually?

@superomsha is your new site hosted here with us? I’m not seeing that on your account, but if you do have one we can look into some ideas. Send a link and we’ll go from there.
If you have your own WordPress.org installation elsewhere, you could look into plugins, or you might also ask your host about setting up a “redirect match” if you aren’t able to do with a plugin or setting.
