URL Redirection
-
I’m creating a new website using a new URL for a customer. As the URLs addresses are so similar, I wish I could redirect the new URL to the current one online to avoid any problems. My question is: can I redirect the new URL to current online and still work the new website through the WordPress dashboard?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
You can absolutely do that with any of purchased plan offered here. Here’s a link to the pricing for them that can help you decide what is right for you and your customer.
wordpress.com/pricing/If you already own the domain you wish your site to have you can find information on mapping that here. en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ You will also be given the option to purchase a custom domain as part of the plan purchase process.
Looking at your other post it seems you are talking about a WordPress.org site and may receive better support on their forums or the support forum of whom ever is hosting your domain.

Hello Sarah,
1- Redirection:
I already have the new domain and its working fine (www.uniteddentist.ca). The only thing I need to know is if I can redirect this new URL to the one that is currently online (www.uniteddentists.ca) while I work the new website.2- WordPress.org
I’ve created a wrong account at the beginning, but now everything is fine. -
Hi,
You should be able to do that. The company that hosts your domain would be the place to start. It looks like uniteddentist.ca is hosted at Green Geeks. They have a large knowledge base that could help you here. https://www.greengeeks.com/kb/
