URL Reservation
-
I wanted to get/reserve johndt.wordpress.com, but I keep getting a message that it’s reserved. There’s not a site that responds (publicly at least) to johndt.wordpress.com, so I’m wondering how/why it is reserved.
I have set my site to johdt.wordpress.com (e.g. my desired URL minus the ‘n’). If it is possible to find out what the deal is with johndt.wordpress.com, I’d really appreciate it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account. Staff cannot reveal the email address used as that would be a violation of the privacy policy.
If you own the exact same username account then you can log out, clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then log in as Admin under the correct matching username account and register the blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/ If you don’t own that username account then you cannot register the reserved blog.
