  hi, 5 months ago, I had a site wit a url called: http://www.scratchthecountries.wordpress.com. This was with another account than this. (I have two accounts on wordpress) But than I had no time anymore to finish this site and I deleted the site without any back-up. But now I really want to make a new site with this account, but with the same url. So please can you help me! I would be so happy when I can use the url again, it’s so meaningful to me. (sorry for my bad English)

  Hi,

  Usually it would be highly recommended not to delete a site. Once you delete a site the address itself becomes unavailable for reuse.

  It would’ve been better to follow the instructions listed in this official guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-site-address/#changing-your-site-address-to-one-you-already-own

  I’m not sure if you mean that you deleted your site five months ago. If you deleted it within thirty days, you can still recover it! Learn more here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/#reverse-a-site-deletion

  You can, however, make another website with your same account, though the domain may not be the same as the one you wish for it to be: https://wordpress.com/start

  Hi there,

  scratchthecountries.wordpress.com was deleted five months ago. Deleted site addresses can only be restored for 30 days, so it’s not possible for you to use that address any more.
