  Hi, lostintranslation.wordpress.com has been taken buy an account that hasn’t been used since 2006. I think it’s for a demo. Is it possible to please delete that account so I can use the username? Thanks!

  If you didn’t create that site yourself then it belongs to someone else and you’ll need to choose a different address. The fact that the site hasn’t been used for a while makes no difference. I have an old test site I haven’t used for years. But I might in the future. I’d be mightily peeved if WordPress.com took it away from me just because someone else fancied the address.
