URL taken, but not used

Hi,
I wanted to make a new wordpress site, but the url I want is already taken. When I look at this website it isn’t used for a very long time.Can this wordpress be deleted so I can use the URL,
as no one is using it anyway….URL i wanted: deinvaljuf.wordpress.com

Sites cannot be deleted by anyone except the site owner. Domains necessarily operate under a first come first serve sort of system, much like user names or other types of addresses. Even if a site isn’t used, if someone has registered the domain name they own it until it expires or they get rid of it. Even if someone doesn’t appear to be using it now, maybe they’re working on the site to publish at a future time.
This is fair when you think about it. If you registered a PO box but never got any mail there, would you be ok with someone coming in and having the Post Office take it from you? What if you wanted mail sent in the future? Once you register the PO box, like the site, is yours.
You could put in the address here to see when it was registered and thus when it expires: https://www.whois.net/
That way once it becomes available if the site owner doesn’t renew you can register it.

There is no expiration date on .wordpress.com blogs unused, reserved or otherwise. In the case that there is no contact information or you do not get a response to a contact form submission or to a comment on the site, as auxclass said Staff will not breach the privacy policy and provide you with an email address.

Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
